The High School Recreational program is designed for High School age players that are not participating on any High School team. The teams are coed and all grade levels (9-12) play together on the same team.
Typically there are 2 practices per week. Games are normally played on Saturday with an occasional weekday evening game under the lights at the THPRD Rec Center.
The league is composed of teams from high schools within the Tualatin Hills Park and Rec District(THRPD). Last year there were 13 teams in all representing Beaverton, Southridge, Sunset, Jesuit, Banks and of course Westview High Schools. Westviewhad 5 teams, and they placed very well in both league play and the post-season tournament, with Westview's "Team Fresh" taking 2nd in the A bracket. More importantly though, they all had lots of FUN!
Practices usually start in early September. League play will begin with the first games on Saturday, September 22rd and run through the first week of November. The post-season tournament will begin on Saturday, November 10th with the Championship game wrapping everything up on the following Saturday, November 17th.
Registration begins on May 1st and runs through September 10th. Special requests for teams and/or teammate placement are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Last year teams filled quickly and we were unable to honor several requests, so register early. Rosters are typically released near the end of August with practices commencing immediately thereafter.
