Registration for the High School Recreation Soccer program opened on May 1 and continues until early September. Our registration fee this year is $80.00, the same as in 2010. Note that every High School player will receive a new Sumerset West jersey this year.
The High School Recreational program is designed for High School age players that are not participating on any High School team. The teams are coed and all grade levels (9-12) play together on the same team. Somerset West servers the Westview High School area although players from outside this area are welcome to register with us.
Typically there are 2 practices per week. Games are normally played on Saturday with an occasional weekday evening game under the lights at the THPRD Rec Center.
The league is composed of teams from high schools within the Tualatin Hills Park and Rec District(THRPD). Last year there were teams representing Beaverton, Southridge, Sunset, Jesuit, Banks and of course Westview High Schools. Westview had 4 teams, and they placed very well in both league play and the post-season tournament, with Westview's Cougars placing 1st in the post-season tournament. More importantly though, they all had lots of FUN!
Practices usually start in early September. League play will begin with the first games on Saturday, September 24th and run through the first week of November. The post-season tournament will immediately follow the end of the regular season.
Registration for the high school program opens on May 1. Rosters are typically released in the first part of September with practices commencing immediately thereafter. We recommend registering online, but if you are unable to do so, registration forms can be downloaded here and mailed to our club address.
