Registration for the SWSC Fall 2023 Microsoccer season is now closed. Registration for the Spring 2024 season will open on January 1.
The registration fee for Microsoccer for the Spring 2024 season is TBD
IMPORTANT: We began using a new registration system, SportsConnect, for Fall 2023. It is closely linked to our previous registration system and we are working to make the new registration as simple and clear as possible.
If you did not play with us in the fall, you will need to create a new account. If you did play in the fall, please use the same account you set up then. More information regarding account creation can be found HERE.
Please register ASAP after January 1! This will allow us to get a head start on recruiting coaches. We will do our best to honor teammate/coach requests.
The regular registration period ends on March 3 for Microsoccer. Registering during the regular registration period guarantees that you will be placed on a team (see below) and, subject to team formation policies, gives players priority in terms of requests for coaches or teammates.
Registration remains open until our teams are full so if your child would like to play, please complete a registration no matter what the date. Once our teams are full, we will post this notification on the website and open a waiting list.
Note that we do our best to place all players who register during the regular registration periods but this is dependent on having enough coaches sign up. In the rare event (it has only happened twice in many years) that we cannot recruit enough coaches, we will do our best to provide options for those affected players with other clubs and will fully refund their SWSC registration fees.
We realize that finances may be a challenge for some families this year. If that is the case for you, we ask that you first contact the THPRD Family Assistance program who may be able to cover some/all of the registration fee. If THPRD assistance is not available, please send an email to registrar@somersetwestsoccer.org to request a club scholarship. We will provide you instructions on how to register in that case.
If you cannot register online, complete a paper form and mail it, with a check made out to SWSC, to the address on the form. Registration forms are available by sending an email to registrar@somersetwestsoccer.org.
Microsoccer Coaches: Please complete your concussion and SafeSport training (as needed) as soon as possible, then register for your background check. Please see the SWSC Coaching page for more information. Note: If you coached in Fall 2023, you will not need to redo your SafeSport or Concussion class. If you completed these classes after February 1, 2023, your certifications will be valid for the Spring 2024 season.
